Just Me

Today was the "dress-up" Halloween party at work...and while yes I did participate, I changed soon after the competition. My makeup was still on, along with some fake lashes. Grabbed my camera and took a picture.. Then played around.. What do you all think??

Never saw myself this way... I actually look at this and think...Wow..that's pretty!

Opening Season Desert Trip 2010

This year we decided to try out a KOA that stated it was Glamis North. To our surprise, the location was not as expected and we much prefer being out in the middle of the desert with the dunes and a generator.. BUT, we did take a few pictures of our weekend and I had fun editing them in the process! After all, you have to make the most of where you end up...right?

This was actually taken on the way home, but who would of thought they would look so happy together!

Ewan and his Sonic Glasses, that kid kills me!

Our first ride in the buggy that Daddy got!

Dad, navigating...and me, well, attempting to shoot in a moving buggy isnt the easiest!

Ewan on his quad for the first time this season...

My Ewan...

This was taken on a night ride around camp...it was just to pretty to pass up!

Poor Nolan and the helmet..not sure who is winning that battle!

This shot was cropped from another, but he looks like he is in the biggest race ever!

Nolan, the only child that falls asleep while off-roading..

Casual Cheese!

Just to add some perspective..

I have a collection of photos like this one.. I know, I'm evil.. but its cute!

Look Mom, I went there!

Random Shoe Tree on our trail ride

And this folks is precisely why we love going to the desert!

My first Artistic Shot of the trip! I kinda dig it!

We sat at the train stop for over 10 min, so Ewan asked me to shoot the cars! Not sure this is what he meant!

Meet Wally! Our family pet! He comes with us just about everywhere!
Overall, it was a good trip. Our first time out is usually a learning experience and Nolan proved that staying in bed is a difficult task in the trailer.. We think we have all the kinks ironed out and he will remain in his bed for trips to come!

Oma's Pumpkin Patch

The kids had their first EVER filed trip this week. The rain was approaching and cancellation of the trip was discussed, BUT we made it. I, again, didn't bring my larger camera as I expected rain! When am I going to learn.. Anyhow, with the point and shoot..this is what was created! Enjoy!
I don't like to be in the photographs, but he was cuddling!

So big these days!

This tractor was so cool! I want to go back and shoot the entire thing!

Vintage as usual

So over me taking pictures

Gave the photo a boost in color!

A mix of vintage and boost!

Out and About in Newtown, St Charles, Mo

This little town baffled me.. I will have to take more pix when I return in the winter. In the middle of a farm land, you find this cookie cutter, Pleasantville-esque location. Small food eateries, Post Office, Town Hall, even Sand Volley Ball courts.. My only regret is not shooting the entire experience..

This is part of the light post. It grabbed my attention
because I have Koi Fish tattoo's on each arm. Just beautiful!

Could not pass up this view from Town Square!

Visitng this town, I have become facinated with Steeples.
I will shoot more, next visit.. Just Stunning!

Here is a close up of the fish.. So cool!

Birthday Fun in the Rain!

Birthday's are always a plus on our weekends! The kids get to run rampet and we adults get to socialize. This weekend was a party for a good friend of mine. Her son, Noah, turned 3. We didn't let a little rain, ruin the fun in the bouncy!

This little one was just adorable!
This face just killed me!

The Birthday Day Boy!

Jake took a bit to warm up... Such a cutie!

The boys were catching some serious AIR!

Pinata Time!

What cupcake??

The boys and their silly faces!

Noah and Jake, such good buddies!

Brothers..

Still not sure of my camera...or me!

Happy Birthday Noah, we had a blast!
